Today we are glad to announce the general availability of EuroLinux AMI on the AWS (Amazon Web Services) platform. It is another step that broadens and strengthens our presence in cloud-based solutions.

AMIs use the eurolinux user for ssh. It’s also recommended to run sudo yum update -y && reboot commands that will update and reboot the system before further use. In order to make potential adaptation easier, we have added a free trial period, which allows you to test EuroLinux AMI as a base for your solutions.

Moreover, we also allow ourself to provide AMIs for other Enterprise Linux distributions, including, among others, CentOS 7 and CentOS 8 AMI. It will enable you to use a different well-known system, and at the same time ensures a more secure solution compared to community AMIs, by using an AWS Marketplace compliant AMI from a reliable source. Usage instructions for each image can be found on their pages.

Lastly, it’s also important to stress that EuroLinux partners and clients can request a BYOL (Bring Your Own License) type AMI. This image type is available on-demand.
